The Golden State Warriors have made history, becoming the first team in the NBA to win 73 matches in a season, thanks to a 125-104 win over the Memphis Grizzlies in the final game of the regular season.

The Warriors surpassed the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls record of 72 regular season wins.

Reigning MVP Steph Curry led the Warriors with a whopping 46 points, 30 of which were from three pointers.

Meanwhile, retiring LA Lakers legend Kobe Bryant has left the game a winner, shooting an incredible 60 points in his final game, as his side defeated the Utah Jazz 101-96.

Bryant enjoyed a career high 50 field goal shots, as his teammates sent pass after pass his way in an attempt to send the star out in style.
