Minnesota have made Georgia guard Anthony Edwards the prized number 1 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft.

Edwards averaged 19.1 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists across 32 games for Georgia in an interrupted 2019-20 season.

Memphis centre James Wiseman was taken with the 2nd overall selection, landing with Golden State.

Wiseman played just three games for Memphis following a suspension from the NCAA before declaring he would leave college and prepare for the draft.

Wiseman averaged 19.7 points and 10.3 rebounds across his three games and will join All-Star pairing Klay Thompson and Steph Curry.

Charlotte Hornets selected LaMelo Ball with the third overall selection in the draft, making LaMelo and brother Lonzo the first brother pairing to both go top five in their respective drafts.

Ball was a prominent figure with NBL franchise the Illawarra Hawks before leaving Australia to ready himself for the NBA.

The Chicago Bulls took Florida State forward Patrick Williams with the fourth pick, a selection that shocked a number of fans, with Williams not starting for his college side all season.

Cleveland selected Isaac Okoro to round out the top five selections, with the Cavaliers adding to their weakened defense with a highly touted winger.

Onyeka Okongwu (6th - Atlanta), Killian Hayes (7th - Detroit), Obi Toppin (8th - New York), Deni Avdija (9th - Washington) and Jalen Smith (10th - Phoenix) filled out the top 10.
