The Golden State Warriors are offering fans $100 USD passes that permit entry into Oracle Arena.
Sounds good, right? Think again. The mobile passes do not include a seat, access to the seating area of even a view of the court itself.
As reported by ESPN, fans who purchase the "In The Building" passes can enter the arena's bars and restaurants and watch the games from the designated club areas.
Warriors spokesperson Lisa Goodwin said the team is intending to sell 200 passes each month, which are non-transferable and will not extend into the playoffs.
Having won thee of the past four NBA championships, Golden State currently have 44,000 people on their season-ticket waiting list and are set to play in front of a sell-out crowd on Wednesday for the 300th consecutive time, dating back to 2012.
Resale tickets to see the Dubs play are priced at around $2,398 AUD, per SEN.
The Warriors are planning to move into Chase Centre, a new arena under construction in the Mission Bay area of San Francisco.
Oracle Arena has been the home of Golden State since 1971, which holds nearly 20,000 people.
