The Sydney Kings have signed NBA forward Al Harrington as an injury replacement for Josh Childress, after he fractured his hand during last week's loss to the Adelaide 36ers.

Harrington has played 981 NBA games for seven different clubs - the Indian Pacers, Atlanta Hawks, Golden State Warriors, New York Knicks, Dever Nuggets, Orlando Magic and Washington Wizards.

The 35-year-old most recently played with Chinese club Fujian Sturgeons.

The 206cm, 111kg Harrington is the most experienced NBA player to join the NBL and he averaged 13.5 points and 5.6 rebounds in his 16 seasons in the NBA.
