Dante Exum is set to miss around two weeks with an ankle injury sustained against Detroit on Sunday.

Exum has battled injuries in his career so far, including an ACL tear, which saw him miss the 2015-16 season, and shoulder surgery during the 2017-18 season.

However, despite these issues, Exum has continued to improve and was playing some his best basketball before the injury.

Exum registered a double-double off the bench in a win over the Knicks where he scored 13 points and had a career-high 13 assists.

The rising star has been assured that his playing time will not suffer when he returns to the line-up, with coach Quin Snyder seeing a noticeable step-up in his game.

If the two-week time frame is accurate then Exum should only miss seven games and will be on track to play at least 70 games for the first time since his rookie year.
