A horror injury to Brooklyn Nets player Caris LeVert has left the Target Center in Minnesota in complete disbelief.
LeVert jumped to defend a drive by Timberwolves guard Josh Okogie and landed awkwardly on his right leg.
A stretcher was called for immediately as trainers stabilised his leg.
LeVert's teammates and opponents were all visibly distressed and shaken by the incident as the guard, who was enjoying a breakout season, was taken off the court.
A number of fellow NBA players sent out messages of support to LeVert who now faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
