Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons is set to miss the next three games after sustaining a shoulder injury against Utah.

Simmons suffered the injury early in the first quarter on Thursday (AEST) against the Utah Jazz after clutching at his shoulder when posting up.

Simmons has suffered a Grade 1 AC joint sprain his right shoulder, according to Yahoo Sports’ Chris Haynes.

Simmons is averaging 13.1 points, 5.4 rebounds and 6.9 assists on the season and will be missed for the next three games with the Sixers losing their last two games after an impressive 5-0 start to the season.

The Sixers currently sit fourth in the Eastern Conference with a 5-2 record.
