Philadelphia have added free-agent Australian guard Ryan Broekhoff to their roster, with the 30-year-old signing a one-year contract with the Sixers, perĀ ESPN.

Broekhoff will join fellow Aussie Ben Simmons as the Sixers look to contend for the 2020/21 championship.

Philadelphia looked to sign Broekhoff in June after he had been waived by the Mavericks, with the Sixers looking to add distance to their shooting for the Orlando bubble.

Broekhoff decided not to join the bubble due to family reasons and will now look to make his NBA return with the Sixers.
